At Track Society, we envision a thriving, interconnected independent music community where independent music professionals have the knowledge, resources, and support to build a long-lasting, sustainable career in the music industry; fostering excellence, collaboration, and creative wellness.
Basically, we exist to bridge gaps, break barriers, and champion the independent music community by equipping them with the tools, confidence, and connections they need to achieve sustainable music business success. Through industry standards, creative wellness advocacy, and collaborative partnerships, we protect creativity and support its ability to thrive as both an art and a viable livelihood.
We serve Independent Music Professionals:
1. Personnel generating less than 50% of their annual income from music business, and
2. Have released or supported the release of digital music on all platforms within the past 24 months or performed live music or supported a live music performance within the past 24 months, and
3. Can provide an up-to-date electronic press kit (EPK) and/or music business resume in Word doc or PDF format, and
4. Have both short-term and long-term music business goals.
We also serve Aspiring Independent Music Business Professionals:
1. Personnel generating less than 50% of their annual income from music business, and
2. Have released or supported the release of digital music on any platform(s) within the past 24 months or performed live music or supported a live music performance within the past 24 months, and

Track Meet: The Independent Music Summit of the Year was hosted by co-collaborator & Diamond Sponsor, Avant Media Institute, in Houston, Texas. The event will take place Fall 2026.
The summit will include informative and interactive workshops as well as professional development creative wellness & networking opportunities.
Eligible guest participants will be able to create their own experiences, and each workshop lasted approximately one hour long.

The Soundwork Scholarship opportunity was specifically designed to support aspiring audio engineers on their professional journey.
