Track Meet serves independent and aspiring independent music professionals who are actively building sustainable music careers while developing their creative, technical, and professional capacity.
Participants may include artists, producers, songwriters, audio engineers, DJs, managers, videographers, administrators, and music business support professionals. Many are balancing creative ambition with limited resources, evolving industry expectations, and the need for clearer professional pathways.
Track Meet was developed in response to community feedback identifying the need for structured artistic development, creative networking spaces, mentorship, and advanced professional development resources.
Through targeted workshops, hands-on learning, and meaningful industry connections, Track Meet supports the next generation of independent music professionals as they turn ambition into measurable milestones.
Many attendees also contributed to the Independent Music Community Needs Assessment conducted in 2023 by Symphoni Music Group, LLC, under the leadership of Sabella Reyes.

Track Meet is more than an annual summit. It is Track Society's commitment to strengthening the independent music community through education, connection, and professional development.
We believe independent music professionals and their teams thrive when they have consistent access to trusted resources, meaningful relationships, and opportunities to develop both creatively and professionally. Too often, talented individuals are expected to navigate complex industry challenges without the guidance, support, or infrastructure needed to sustain long-term growth.
Track Meet was created to help bridge that gap. Through workshops, mentorship, peer learning, and industry engagement, the summit empowers participants to strengthen their skills, expand their networks, clarify their goals, and move forward with greater confidence and direction.
Our goal is simple: to help independent music professionals build sustainable careers while fostering a stronger, more connected music community.

Track Meet is built through collaboration between Track Society, Avant Media Institute, community partners, facilitators, volunteers, and music industry professionals who believe independent music professionals deserve access to practical support while they are still developing.

Track Meet is built through collaboration between Track Society, Avant Media Institute, community partners, facilitators, volunteers, and music industry professionals who believe independent music professionals deserve access to practical support while they are still developing.

Annually, the summit may include:
Through our collaboration with Avant Media Institute, Track Meet also creates access to professional learning environments and advanced educational opportunities for participants interested in audio engineering, recording, production, studio etiquette, and related technical pathways.
Together, these experiences help participants strengthen their skills, build confidence, expand their networks, and identify practical next steps for their creative and professional growth.

Avant Media Institute and our Board of Directors invited guest participants to partake in the beta assessment of our new, signature event; Track Meet: The Independent Music Summit of The Year.
The Track Meet (2024) guest participant class list was composed of 25 independent artists, producers, audio engineers, managers, and DJ’s; making up The Track Meet “Grandmaster Class.”
These guest participants gathered from The Greater Houston Area, Atlanta, and Chicago to attend the two-day summit.
The Grandmaster Class not only provided honest feedback regarding the framework of the Track Meet experience, but they also brought to life the sense of comradery needed within the independent music community today. These guest participants were instrumental in helping us understand the general challenges commonly faced by independent music creators and their teams during their developmental journey. It's because of the Grandmaster Class' feedback and participation Track Meet (2025) will be even better. We are very thankful for them.
Check out this Track Meet 2025 recap. The summit's workshops and professional development opportunities were sponsored by the following:
