What's A Track Society Passion Project?
Track Society’s passion projects are mission-driven programs and creative experiences designed to respond to specific needs within the independent music community.
Through education, live performance, professional feedback, creative collaboration, networking, and community partnerships, each project creates a practical way for independent music professionals to learn, connect, and move forward.
We also collaborate with music industry professionals, businesses, and organizations to develop mission-aligned programs that strengthen local independent music communities.
Community Music Project Development: Track Society works with music businesses, industry leaders, and philanthropic partners to plan and deliver nonprofit programs in support of independent music communities.
Partners may provide project funding, local insight, professional involvement, or other resources while Track Society supports program design, budgeting, coordination, implementation, and evaluation.

Track Tryouts gives independent performers an opportunity to present their live set, receive constructive feedback from experienced professionals, and better understand where they are strong and where further development may be needed.
The experience also creates space for peer support, networking, and greater confidence in live-performance preparation.

Track Society joined forces with Live From The Pentagon Studios and WBBC Chicago 77.3 to bring Houston’s independent music community together for an Independence Day weekend celebration centered on creativity, connection, and collaboration.
Through participatory experiences such as open mic and karaoke, the Freestyle Relay, and the newly introduced Songwriter Relay,
Bars & Stripes gave attendees multiple ways to perform, contribute, create, and build relationships.
Bars & Stripes 2027 is anticipated for Friday, July 2, 2027.

Bars & Stripes created a welcoming performance space where artists and community members could share music, engage the room, and build meaningful connections.
WBBC Chicago 77.3 hosted and sponsored the open mic and karaoke experience and broadcast the event live on air; making Bars & Stripes truly “Live From The Pentagon.”

Live From The Pentagon Studios donated two professional recording studios from 9:00 PM to midnight for the Bars & Stripes Freestyle Relay. Participants recorded original eight-bar verses over rotating beat loops in open, collaborative sessions organized for rappers and vocalists.
The experience was created solely to encourage creative networking, experimentation, and relationship-building.
Recordings were not produced for commercial release or profit.

Bars & Stripes 2026 introduced the Songwriter Relay as a successful new collaborative experience. Songwriters worked together in 15-minute rounds to build song ideas, exchange creative energy, and connect with other music professionals in the room.
Each round gave participants an opportunity to contribute, listen, collaborate, and experience songwriting as a community-building practice.
